Gloria Cherafat

Travel Manager

With more than 18 years experience in the travel industry plus 16 years living abroad, Gloria Cherafat offers her guests first-hand knowledge of every aspect of domestic and international travel, both by land and sea.

Her extensive itineraries include trips to Europe, the Middle East and Russia. Perhaps more enticing, she completed a trip around the world. Starting in Kansas City (where she now calls home), Gloria continued to Los Angeles, stopping in Hawaii, Tokyo, Karachi, Teheran, Beirut, Qatar, Istanbul, Moscow, Kiev, Sochi, Belgrade, Prague, Budapest, The Isle of Capri, Rome, Florence, Venice, Zurich, Geneva, Vienna, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels, Paris, London, Madrid, Toledo, Lisbon, New York, and back to Kansas City.

Of her eleven cruises to date, her favorite sailed her across the Atlantic on the luxurious QEII from New York to Lyon, France. From Lyon, she drove across Europe to Istanbul and onto the Middle East exploring the beautiful countryside and small towns and villages along the way.

Plus, she has traveled to the Caribbean, Mexico, Bermuda, Canada and many of our 50 states.

She has created customized itineraries to destinations around the world. In fact, her specialty is customizing independent tours for individuals who do not want to take an escorted tour or guided tour.

Gloria has attended Washburn University and is a graduate of Carpentours Travel Academy, CLIA Certified, and a Destination Specialist.

 

Faye DiGirolamo

Travel Consultant

Faye DiGirolamo returned to Kansas City and joined Global Connections, Inc. in Overland Park, KS in November. She brings more than 20 years travel industry experience to her position as senior travel consultant.

Faye has traveled the world, including Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, South America, Caribbean and Canada, plus many of our 50 states. Prior to joining Global Connections, Inc., Faye owned and operated a full-service travel agency, served as a cruise and honeymoon specialist, was the on-air travel agent for local radio station KY-102, handled business travel for several prominent Kansas City companies and was a travel school instructor.

 

Marsha Frazier

Travel Consultant

Marsha Frazier is a travel consultant offering more than 20 years of diverse experience in the travel industry. Her enjoyment of leisure travel shines through as a Global Connections, Inc. Cruise Escort. To date, she’s been on six group cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska with Global Connections, Inc.

Over the years, Marsha has traveled around the globe to practically every continent. Some of her favorite sites are Jerusalem and Petra in Jordan. Riding a camel up Mt. Sinai in the darkness of the early morning hours, hunting for mushrooms in a forest about 50 miles outside of Moscow, and seeing the fairy penguins on Phillip’s Island top her favorite leisure travel experiences. In addition to cruising the Caribbean and Alaska, she has cruised in the Mediterranean, the Greek Islands, the Yangtze River, and the Nile.

Marsha is a Certified Travel Consultant and a Destination Specialist for Western Europe, Bahamas and the Caribbean. She is a graduate of the World Travel Academy, Minneapolis, MN.

 

Brad Murdoch

Travel Consultant

Brad Murdoch has 17 years of travel industry experience, specializing in customized independent and group international itineraries. Before joining Global Connections, Inc., Brad managed travel departments for AAA and Maupintour, industry leaders in deluxe escorted group travel.

Traveling over 37 countries on six continents, he has cruised on all major cruise lines including Silversea, Holland America, Cunard, Peter Deilmann Cruises and Princess. During his extensive travel in Europe, Brad cruised all major rivers and wine routes of the region. He has also journeyed aboard the world’s most exciting rail itineraries, including the Royal Scotsman, the Venice-Simplon Orient Express, South Africa’s Blue Train and the Rocky Mountaineer in British Columbia. Brad is ready to put his extensive expertise to work for you by planning your tours and travels to any destination, worldwide.

He attended the University of Kansas and graduated from Bryan World Travel College. Brad is also a certified CLIA cruise specialist and is an ICTA Destination Specialist in Europe, the South Pacific, Africa, the Caribbean and North America.

 

Michael Pace

Travel Consultant

Michael has been in the travel industry for almost 30 years. He has owned his own agency as well as managed an agency. He has traveled extensively to Hawaii, Europe, Mexico and several states in the United States, Hawaii being one of his favorites.

 

Nancy Porter

Travel Consultant

Nancy has worked in the travel business for the past eight years. For Nancy, vacation planning is more than the details—she creates memories families, friends, and couples can cherish for a lifetime. Her experience includes booking cruises, tours, car rentals, hotels, airfare, corporate travel, and group sports team tournament travel.

Nancy has completed several specialist programs for many destinations. She particularly enjoys traveling with her family to different destinations.
